"On Monday, April 23, 2018 At Carl's BBQ near Cypress, Texas I had the pleasure to speak at my old Rotary Club of Cypress-Fairbanks.
I spoke about my journey with polio, how polio lead me to a rewarding legal career in collaborative divorce and how collaborative divorce is part of a new wave of therapeutic justice. Divorce litigation is all about blame.
Collaborative divorce is about supporting couples and their children who benefit from a process which supports them and prevents needless harm to already injured relationships. Having completed over 100 collaborative divorces ranging from $50,000 to over $100,000,000 in assets, I can say there is no greater reward than serving as a peacemaker and in protecting those I serve and their children from collateral damage.
I was presented with a End Polio Now T-Shirt. I wear it with pride knowing millions of adults and children around the globe because of Rotary's successful Polio Plus Program have also been protected from polio and the collateral damage this dreadful decease inflicts.
To all members and guests who came to eat great food and to digest my words , I say thanks for the gifts and in sharing your busy day with me,
