January 7th Club Meeting

Speaker

Today's speaker was Dr. Manu Sharma. He is currently a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar and studying at the Houston Medical Center. He spoke to us how the scholarship program was responsible for him being able to go to school. Also, he spoke about caring for patients in his home country of India.

2) RYLA has requested us to contribute financially to the RYLA District Conference and the board will meet and discuss supporting this.

Good News

1) Rick Stephanow - Congratulations to the Aggies for winning the Cotton Bowl. Also, his office has now moved inside Beltway 8 near Richmond and Westpark. Rick and Jerry are working with the Salute to our Heros event in February if you would like to be involved or attend.

2) Ray Young - wore a Notre Dame shirt for the National Championship. He wore it because a young lady interned at his office that attended Notre Dame and gave him the shirt. Also, Baylor is "opening back up for business" and his daughters are going back for the new semester.

3) Charlie Durrenberger - his grandson is headed back for his new semester at UT Arlington and informed him he will be taking another year to get a Physics degree on top of his Pre-Med degree.

4) Virginia Carlton - If you're interested in a black 1994 Corvette that's for sale talk to her.
