July 29th Club Meeting

Speaker

Today our first speaker was Michelle Shore who gave us a classification talk.

Our second speaker was Glenn Thigpin from Chick-Fil-A. Glenn spoke to us about how he became an owner of Chick-Fil-A and about the company's values.

Club Announcements

1) Marilyn had a check from Exxon Mobil for our Cypress Fairbanks Rotary Foundation in the amount of $1,000.

Good News

1) Andrew Walker - Took his wife to see Wicked this weekend and she really enjoyed it. However, he really tolerated it.

2) Virginia Carlton - Brandt and his wife were paddling down the canal in their neighborhood and she shared a bottle of wine with them finally.

3) Marilyn Farrell - Also went to see Wicked this weekend and enjoyed it.

4) Sandra Peterson - Her mom is still in rehab after the West explosion, but is doing well.

5) Mike Castro - Lisa was sick this weekend, but Mike managed to survive his duties this weekend and not get sick.

6) Jerry Albrecht - Watched his 8 and 6 year old grandchildren this week and he is worn out.

7) Sherry Reiland - Her daughter and husband were in the Houston Chronicle in the Health and Living section.
