June 24th Club Meeting

Today our speaker was Mike Zientek and spoke to us about the Hwy 290 construction project.

Club Announcements

1) The club added Patty Boyd as an honorary member.

2) This was the last meeting of the current year officers and next week will be the new Rotary year.

Good News

1) Alan Brevard - Sunday afternoon he picked up son from church camp in Marble Falls and he's excited to go back again next year.

2) Stan Carr - Glad to be back, but it will be short lived as he leaves Thursday on vacation to see his grandkids.

3) Brandt Smith - Wore a crown of flowers on Sunday for his friends from Sweden to celebrate Mid-Summer. He constructed a pole in his backyard for it and danced around it and the neighbors probably thought he was crazy.

4) Bill Barnes - just got back from a reunion with old Army buddies that consisted of exaggerated tales, the consumption of alcoholic beverages and a good time was had by all.

5) Charlie Durrenberger - happy for Gwen's last meeting as President.

6) Gwen Durrgenberger - gave out the remaining Rotary bumper stickers.

7) Marilyn Farrell - after the meeting she and Kevin are headed to the meeting and picking up St. Frances on the way.

8) Ray Young - Faith flew back from South Africa yesterday from her church mission. Ray is very proud of having a child that loves the Lord that much.
