Today our speaker was Skip Richter with the Harris County Texas Agrilife Extension Agency. Skip spoke to us about various horticulture topics tailored around lawn care.

Club Announcements

1) Board Meeting on Monday, March 9th at 11:00am at Carl's before the meeting.

2) Reach Unlimited Springfest is Saturday, March 21st from 9-12.

Good News

1) Colleen Hawkins - Her and her husband traveled to West Virginia last week to visit family. Also, they missed all the storms for their flights. However, it was zero degrees with six inches of snow while they were there. Before they left her car was totaled, but thankfully she was not in the vehicle. She bought a new car on Saturday and they just closed on a new home Monday morning.

2) Mike Flowers - Had a good Umpire Training Conference in Waco, which was inside thankfully. Also, his wife got tickets for the Fleetwood Mac concert.

3) Kevin Smith - His oldest granddaughter's 8th birthday is this week and he enjoyed her company this weekend.

4) Keith Peterson - Keith and Sandra went to the Rodeo Cook-off this past weekend. The best part is that someone invited him and he earned some business while there.

5) Ray Young - Happy Texas Independence Day! Also, his youngest daughter, Abby, had a birthday on Monday.
