Today our speaker was, Vince Ryan, the Harris County Attorney. He spoke to us about his history in county government and answered various questions about county government issues.

Club Announcements

1) Justin Jenkins and Keith Peterson received their baked good prizes for being the top brisket sellers.

2) Kevin Smith is our newest prospective Rotarian.

3) Thursday, June 13th is the Club's Officer Installation Dinner at Antonia's at 7:00pm.

Good News

1) Alan Brevard - His wife will be installed in the West U Rotary on Thursday.

2) Virginia Carlton - Lost her brand new cell phone in the canal. If you have an old cell phone you're not using she could use it.

3) Justin Jenkins - Asked if anybody read the joke in last week's newsletter. Marilyn and Gwen were the only ones who read it.

4) Charlie Durrenberger - Welcomed Kevin as our new prospective member.

5) Gwen Durrenberger - glad to have her grandson with her this week and Charlie is happy because she is cooking. Former member, Sue Needham, is planning on rejoining the club.

6) Mike Reiland - happy to introduce his new baby horse to the family.
