Today our speaker was Jon Taylor, PhD. Jon spoke to the club about Untapping the Potential of Your Subconscious Mind.
Club Announcements
1) CAM sack-pack is this Friday. Please come and help if you can.
2) Classification and reclassification talks are coming. Randy Kennedy will be contacting members to schedule these talks in the near future.
3) A “Road Rally” will be held on October 25th to solicit silent auction items and business sponsors.
4) The Peterson’s “Pumpkin and Prom” party is October 25th at 6:30 PM at Christ the Redeemer. Please RSVP to Keith.
5) Speaking of Keith. He was presented with an “Above and Beyond” award from the District Governor (via Marilyn) for his work in the community. Way to go Keith!!
Good News
1) Alan; attended the dinner on the Battleship Texas this past Saturday. It was a great event, even though his son didn’t really want to be there.
2) Mike Castro; Put in a dollar for the Cowboy win over the Seahawks. This dollar was placed on behalf of Justin Jenkins.
3) Virginia; glad to be back at Rotary after extensive traveling.
4) Marilyn; also enjoyed the Battleship Dinner. Alan’s son Michael came up to her and stated that he was glad he came to the event.
5) Walt; Kevin drove for Walt on Saturday and did a great job. They had a lot going on this weekend and Walt is thankful that Kevin was available to help out.
