October 8th Club Meeting

There was no formal speaker today as we held a Club Assembly. Mike Castro gave the club an update on our November 10th Fundraiser. Mike, Keith and Gabe canvassed for sponsors and donations this past weekend. John Shirley's team is in the lead for ticket sales! The next fundraiser meeting is a Mike Castro's office on October 16th at 5:30pm.  

Marilyn explained that not to pay attention to the bill on ClubRunner, but to wait for her invoice.

Stan will announce soon our Salvation Army Bell Ringing location for the Christmas season.  He has challenged some other Rotary Clubs to "top" our past collections!

Andrea Wiley printed up Virginia, Jerry & D Ray's Rotary brochure for "canvassers" to have for when they have someone ask,  "What is Rotary?"

It's not too early to think about Christmas Club party plans.

Good News

1.  Stan & Debi are celebrating 35 years of marriage.

2.  Andrea & Scott are celebrating 31 years!

3.  Virginia is taking a cruise to the Cayman Islands for her son's 50th birthday!

4.  Jerry & Judi were delivering Meals on Wheels today.

5.  Alan still needs host families for our YSE, Carlo!!!!!!

6.  D Ray responded to the student who requested help w/ setting up an Interact Club at Cy Ranch; she has not returned his email.
