Today our speaker was Al Massey from Prison Entrepreneurship Program. Al spoke to us about the great things this organization is doing to transform the lives inside prison. www.pep.org

Club Announcements

1) District Governor visit is next week. Please attend!

2) Our exchange student needs a second host family starting in December that is zoned for Cy-Ranch High School. Also, the current host family is going out of town on October 12-13 and Alan has family coming that weekend. The club needs someone to host the exchange student that weekend. If you can help with either please contact Alan Brevard.

3) Sell Fundraiser tickets!

Good News

1) Mike Castro - There were plenty of volunteers at the CAM Sack Pack and everyone was well dressed. Thank you to all of those who helped.

2) Stan Carr - This Saturday is the 4th Annual Craft Show at the Salvation Army location from 9am to 4pm. There will be 70 vendors.

3) Elaine Combs - Reminded us about registering for District Conference by November 1st for preferred lodging. The District's golf tournament is Monday, October 14th at Wildcat Golf Club. Just came back from vacation and caught some great fish offshore.

4) Justin Jenkins - Had a great time dove hunting in McAllen this weekend.
