Today our speaker was Eriko Valk with Liberty Path. She spoke to us about their counseling program. www.libertypath.org

Club Announcements

1) The final announcement was made for membership for Melissa Essary, Justin Baker and Jennifer Baker.

2) The Trash Pick Up is this weekend Saturday the 14th at Cy Falls High School on Huffmeister starting at 8:00am.

3) CAM Sack Pack is coming up on September 20th at 5:00pm.

4) The District Governor visit is September 30th.

Good News

1) Alan Brevard - This past Saturday Alan and his son started their 5 weeks of scuba lessons.

2) Mike Reiland - Went on a camping trip in California and went prospecting. He drove the whole time in his RV. However, the gold he prospected out the river didn't even cover half the cost of gas.

3) Mike Castro - Saturday Mike presented the club's request for a matching grant from the district. His request is for Tools for Life. The grants committee presentation was a lot less formal than he thought. Mike was the only one to show up in a tie and the only one with a formal presentation.
